Operation Photo Rescue

Operation Photo Rescue is a volunteer network of professionals begun with the mission to repair precious family photographs damaged by Hurricane Katrina in Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Photojournalist Becky Sell and photo editor Dave Ellis founded OPR and embarked on a mission to recover the photos and memories that would have been lost to the storm. It?s an impressive effort, upon which I stumbled at the Apple.com website in the Hot News section. Here?s my contribution as an OPR volunteer and an example of the kind of work being done by the group.

Chapel's Day in the Country Cookbook sponsorship campaign raises $30,000 --just $10,000 shy of our goal to fund the first run of Day in the Country Cookbook from Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church, Mannsdale, MS.
